Filipinos either employed or unemployed, overseas or just living here in the Philippines, are having their own way of living, earning an income to it; but when a Filipino reach to an old age, he or she will later migrate to province and be a rice farmer, those I frequently heard as said by many.
Rice Farming is still the current traditional type of a low level income generated preferred by the olds, due to Philippines is still an agricultural type of country. Earning money in Planting Rice is not a reliable source of sure income, and the harvest is to wait for at least 4 months of waiting. Within 4 months of maintaining, segregating expenses to do certain tasks, money is loosing and hope to pray that after harvest, it should not fail, the rice owner who spends so much money for a capital should earn more, and therefore, failure in rice cropping is not suppose to be an option.
Such frequent obstacles that the farmer and the rice owner capitalist afraid of are the following:
Whether Condition such as Typhoon (Air Current Forces and Heavy Flood)
Availability of Water Sources (Deep Tube Underground Water, Irrigated Water, Narrow River, and hope that it Rain a lot)
Attacked by Rice Pests (they are considered as a Virus on rice leaves and parts)
Attacked by Rice Rats (smartest ground pests)
Attacked by Angry Birds (pests in the air) recommended using an air gun rather than a scarecrow
Attacked by Golden Snails (Submarine type of pests)
Rice Field Workers who are Extortionists and Thefts (reporting false statements and telling lies to Rice Owner Capitalist)
Plenty of Rice Workers and Rice Co-workers to pay for their services for the entire sequences of cropping
The Sudden Low of Market Price of Rice Sacks during Harvest (Bad Timing)
The availability of current Farming Machines (or use a Carabao or Water Bufallo)
Expenses and Budget (Rice Fertilizers, and Pest Poison Chemicals)
